1. Getting your artwork right helps us print your order exactly as you intend. Whether you're personalising a product in our online design tool or supplying your own print-ready file, following these guidelines will give you the best possible results. File formats: We accept the most common formats, including high-resolution JPG and PNG images and print-ready PDFs. PDF is preferred for finished artwork as it keeps your text and layout intact. Resolution: For crisp, professional printing we recommend a resolution of at least 300 DPI at the final print size. Low-resolution images from websites or social media may look fine on screen but can appear blurry or pixelated when printed.

  2. Colour: For the most accurate colour reproduction, please supply artwork in CMYK rather than RGB where possible. Screens display colour in RGB, so bright RGB colours can look slightly different once printed in CMYK. Bleed and safe area: If your design runs to the edge of the product, extend the background slightly beyond the trim line (bleed) so there are no white edges after cutting. Keep important text and logos a few millimetres inside the edge (the safe area) so nothing vital is trimmed off. Sizing: Always set your artwork up at the correct finished size. If you're using our online design tool, the correct dimensions and safe areas are built in for you, so you can design with confidence.

  3. Automatic quality checks: When you upload an image in our design tool, we automatically check its resolution against the size it will be printed at. If it's too low, you'll see a warning so you can replace it before ordering. A few quick tips: use the highest-quality version of any logo or photo you have, embed or outline fonts in supplied PDFs so text prints correctly, and always preview your design carefully before checkout, as what you see in the preview is what we print.
